Original artwork by some of today’s most celebrated painters – Pat Adams, Susan Crile, Gail Gregg, Beverly McIver, Melissa Meyer, Jonathan Santlofer, James Siena and Alexi Worth – plus dinner with Molly O’Neill, or a chance to have your name written into a story or novel – are only some of the items available in a very special silent auction this week that will culminate with the announcement of the winning bidders at Yaddo’s New York City Benefit to be held Thursday, May 10th, 6:30 p.m., at Gotham Hall.
You can preview the 22 available auction items now online (View/Print Auction Item Descriptions), view the auction art online (View Auction Art) and submit a bid via email or fax if you can’t attend the event, or if you will be there Thursday but simply want to get in an early bid. The auction will begin Thursday (May 10th) at 6:30 p.m. and close promptly at 8:30 p.m. Minimum bids are listed on each item. Absentee bids must be received no later than 5 p.m. Wednesday (May 9th). Absentee bid forms may be faxed to Yaddo at 518-584-1312 or, if you cannot fax, bid information may be e-mailed to Lynn Farenell at lfarenell@yaddo.org.
