Del Tredici's First Piano Trio

Saratoga Springs, NY (November 5, 2002) —
Yaddo composer David Del Tredici's "Grand Trio" will receive its New York premiere November 12 and 13 at the 92nd Street Y Tisch Center for the Arts in New York City.
A commission to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Kalichstein-Laredo-Robinson Trio, the work is Mr. Del Tredici's first piano trio. Mr. Del Tredici has been a guest artist at Yaddo several times and is a Member of The Corporation of Yaddo. The program also will include Beethoven's Allegretto in B-flat Major, WoO 39, Schumann's Piano Quartet in E-flat Major, Op. 47, and Prokofiev's Sonata for Two Violins, Op. 56 (with guest violinist Leila Josefowicz).
