NYU Presents Cunningham and Hempel

Yaddo authors Michael Cunningham and Amy Hempel will team up January 21 for a joint reading as part of a New York University series of programs celebrating Yaddo.
"Off the Page", a free presentation open to the public, will begin at 6:30 p.m. in Hemmerdinger Hall, Silver Center for Arts and Science, Room 102, at 32 Waverly Place or 31 Washington Place, New York, New York.
Mr. Cunningham is the author of four novels and one book of nonfiction. His novel The Hours, which was turned into a critically acclaimed movie, won the Pulitzer Prize and the PEN/Faulkner Award. Ms. Hempel is the author of four collections of stories. These were gathered into a single volume – The Collected Stories of Amy Hempel – which was selected by The New York Times for its "The 10 Best Books of 2006" list.
