Application Deadline Moved to January 1

Yaddo has changed its January application deadline from January 15th to January 1st. The new deadline will be in effect for the January, 2005, application period. Artists who plan to apply in time to meet this deadline should have applications postmarked by January 1.

The application deadlines at Yaddo now will be January 1, for residencies beginning mid-May through February of the following year, and August 1 for residencies beginning late October and extending through mid-May of the following year.

A new artists' application package has been developed. It incorporates the new January 1 deadline and other procedural changes such as a new rule prohibiting artists from applying more than once during a calendar year. The new materials are posted online as of June 7. Note: It is also now possible for sponsors to complete the sponsor letter form online before printing it and mailing it.
