Reminder: Application Deadline Changed to January 1

Beginning with the January, 2005, application period, Yaddo’s January application deadline has been changed from January 15 to January 1. Artists who plan to apply in time to meet the January deadline should have applications postmarked by January 1.

Yaddo’s application deadlines now are January 1, for residencies beginning mid-May through February of the following year, and August 1 for residencies beginning in late October and extending through mid-May of the following year.

A new artists’ application package, which incorporates the new January deadline and other procedural changes – such as a new rule prohibiting artists from applying more than once during a calendar year – was issued earlier this year and is available online. At the same time, the online application system was updated to allow sponsors to complete the sponsor letter form online before printing it and mailing it.
