Random Acts of Life On Stage October 3
New York, NY (September 24, 2012) – Authors Peter Cameron and A.M. Homes and visual artist Anna Schuleit will address the theme “Random Acts of Life” in the newest installment of Yaddo’s collaboration with Amanda Stern’s highly acclaimed The Happy Ending Music and Reading Series. This October 3 program will take place in The Ace Hotel’s popular Liberty Hall, which is located at 20 West 29th Street in New York City.
Joining the Yaddo artists on stage will be musical guest Jennifer O’Connor and Michael Arthur, who will produce “live” drawings in pen and ink throughout the evening. Plus, master mixologist Eben Klemm is creating a specialty drink just for the occasion, the perfect accompaniment to a menu catered by The Breslin.
Last year, Yaddo and Stern, a novelist and Yaddo guest artist, entered into a partnership to produce a series of shows in New York City to feature both established and emerging artists associated with Yaddo.
Cameron is the author of the novels Coral Glynn, Someday This Pain Will Be Useful to You, Andorra, and The City of Your Final Destination. His work has appeared in The New Yorker, Grand Street, and The Paris Review.

Schuleit recently created a set design at New York Live Arts for Ivy Baldwin Dance, based on her line drawings, and completed a project for Smart Urban Stage in Berlin that interpreted the city of the future. Next year, she will be part of a North Pole expedition, where she will test a new drawing method using eye-tracking devices.
