unidentified man, and writer Christl Hechenbleikner.
John Cheever’s connection to Yaddo spanned nearly 40 years. He enjoyed numerous working residencies at Yaddo, including several Depression summers and at least one working as the boatman ferrying artist guests back and forth across nearby Lake George to an island property that housed some of Yaddo’s earliest artists. In later years, as a member of Yaddo’s Board, he recommended artists for residencies and helped govern the community.
Discounted tickets to these events are just $19, a substantial savings. Please use the promo code YADDO to qualify for the discount when purchasing tickets online at 92Y.org or by telephone at 212.415.5500.
